The latest development in the vibrant West
Loop area of Chicago, the “Promenade” is a ten story mixed use
building incorporating several exterior wall materials: masonry, precast
concrete, cast–in place concrete and steel and glass curtain wall.
The structure is made up solely of reinforced concrete, including
two-way flat plate slabs, concrete columns and concrete shear walls
sitting on a belled caisson foundation with perimeter grade beams and a
concrete mat under the core. |
