A thirty-story concrete condominium building located in
Chicago’s Gold Coast, the tower features four residential units per
floor located around a central concrete core. The transition between the
upper levels of condominiums and five floors of parking below is
accomplished by a system of 5'-0'' deep concrete transfer girders.
The
exterior masonry wall system is supported on alternate framed floors by
galvanized steel shelf angles.
